The Huffington Post app provides access to eight newspaper editions available online: France, USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, North Africa, United Kingdom, and Japan. Select your favorite one and read all the articles published in that edition. The app lets you navigate all sections of the newspaper (headlines, politics, economics, international, culture and much more) and organize them any way you like.
The Huffington Post app has an offline mode, useful for downloading articles and reading them when you have no connection. There's also a night mode, which you can choose to activate automatically or manually. The application also lets you bookmark your favorite articles to find them easily.
The app also has many options for sharing links to articles on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Easy navigation
Navigation between articles and sections of the newspaper is very intuitive. A button at the top of the screen provides access to sections and favorites. Another button in the upper right corner takes you to the app's settings.
Navigation between articles in the same section is done by swiping your finger left or right. You can pinch to zoom in or out to change the font size when reading an article, which can also be used for changing the display mode on the homepage.
Well designed
The Huffington Post app's user interface is clear and well designed. The way in which articles are displayed is customizable, letting you choose between a grid or list view. Each article is displayed in a framed area containing the title of the article and an image.
The application allows you to choose between three font sizes for easy reading on any Android device.
